Economic Versus Citizens Groups

People are organized into groups in order to meet their survival options in life. There are two major groups where many people will be affiliated to. These groups include economic and citizens group. The economic group is a conglomeration of people in the same state of social and economic standings. Traditionally, the economic group have been the elite and the ruling class who are on the upper side while and also another class of people who are ruled. This means that economic groups in the society have separated the roles of individuals in the society (Benedict, 2005).

There are different categories of economic groups which include  the upper class which forms upper class and the upper middle class who are managers , administrators and professionals, the middle class which forms the medium ranking managers  and administrators, lower middle class that comprised of the that forms the clerical staff and the . The lowest members of the economic groups are the lower middle class and the working class with the pensioners, unemployed and the unskilled casuals being the least in the group. On the other hand, citizens group is the coming together of people in a community and forming a movement in free association usually with the aim of enhancing development (Johnson, 2011). The greatest role of the citizens group is to lobby the government on affairs that concern the general populace of the land.
