When describing race, color is the major element that brings about this difference. That is, one is described as either white or black something that goes against ethics and law of nature when we judge from appearances. Institutional racism as a new term was introduced in 1960s by black activists Stokely Carmichael and Charles Hamilton. As a practice it is experienced in various institutions; academic organizations, private as well as public corporations (Better, 2008).
