Please prepare two letters and a job history as follows: Your cover letter will be in modified block format, Times New Roman, 12 point font; it should contain three paragraphs. Paragraph one should state what job you are applying for, how you heard about the opening, and that you would like to be considered for the position, Paragraph two should explain your special qualifications for the job. Paragraph three should explain your fitness for the job, how you hope to be considered for an interview, and list your contact information (including the hours you are available to discuss the job). Your job history should contain your name and contact information at the top of each page, list your objectives, your experience, your education, any special skills you have, and any awards you have recieved. Do not list your references. The follow-up letter should be in block format, thanking the person with whom you interviewed for taking the time to speak with you. The letter should have three paragraphs; the first one should thank the person for his or her time, the second paragraph should inform the reader how your unique qualifications make you a good fit for the job, and the third paragraph should thank the individual again and list your contact information.
Please keep in mind that I greatly dislike one-sentence paragraphs. Please limit your letters to one full page apiece and you job history to two pages.
