Should IDEO accept the Visor project as is (on a dramatically reduced schedule)

Should IDEO accept the Visor project as is (on a dramatically reduced schedule)? Should they try to persuade Handspring’s management to change its aggressive launch schedule? Or should they simply decline the project altogether?
